How do I order a cake?
Cakes can be ordered by phone or email. Simply tell us the size and nature of the cake and when you require it. We will respond with pricing and delivery details.

What kind of celebrations does Fun Cakes cater for?
Fun Cakes can provide cakes for all events - such as children's and adult birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, corporate events etc No cake too big or too small. If you need a cake, whatever the occasion then Fun Cakes can provide it. We can create wedding cakes, but they are special orders and require plenty of notice. Also our wedding cakes are all about fun, not basic white icing. So if you want something different then try us.

What flavour are the cakes?
The most popular flavour cakes tend to be vanilla, chocolate and lemon, but Fun Cakes can produce and cake designed to your specification and choice of flavours. The sponge cakes are also complimented with a middle filling of buttercream. Rich fruit cakes are also available but more notice will be required.

What size are the cakes?
Cakes can be as big or as small as you desire.

How far in advance can I order?
You can order as far in advance as you like. Next week, next month or even next year. Some customers ordering wedding cakes have been known to order 2 years in advance!

What style of cake can I have?
Anything at all! There's no limit on your imagination and we can make any cake of your dreams. Children's cakes can be anything from numbers, to cartoon characters, pets, hobbies, favourite toys, TV shows or films. Adult cakes could be driving tests, TV shows, films, hobbies, countries, animals, shopping, housework or saucy items. The majority of the cakes made by Fun Cakes are 3D, but the more basic 2D flat cakes can be made if required.

How do I get the cake?
We offer free delivery within the local area (Locks Heath). For those outside our local area we recommend collection or we can deliver (generally within a 50 mile radius). The delivery charge is 65p per mile for the round trip from our post code to the destination post code. Typical delivery destinations and approximate costs can bee seen below:

Yes. Our cakes are covered in sugar paste and all colours, figures and details are edible.

Let us know how many it needs to feed and we will make and price it accordingly.

Do you take online payment for the cakes?
Yes, online payment can be taken, details are supplied once an order is confirmed.

What ingredients do you use in your cakes?
Fun Cakes uses only the best ingredients, in order to comply with the Food labelling laws (October 2021) a breakdown of the ingredients is provided here:

  • Madeira Sponge - Eggs, castor sugar, margarine (inc buttermilk), flour (inc wheat and gluten), icing, buttermilk, colouring, coco powder (inc milk) (for chocolate cakes).

  • Fruit Cake - Butter, sugar, dried fruits, eggs, flour (inc wheat and gluten), syrup, jam, brandy, marzipan (inc tree nuts), icing.
